Bella is an experienced and versatile therapist with an accessible and focussed approach. She trained in Psychodynamic Practice at the University of Oxford over several years.
Psychodynamic theory is based on the idea that not everything that motivates us is conscious. We are often driven by behaviours and feelings that seem irrational or unhelpful. These patterns have been set at earlier stages of development and counselling is a space to untangle them.
Clearer insight into how we’ve been conditioned by the past means clearer insight into how we behave in the present, allowing us greater freedom of choice in how we lead our lives.
Bella has experience working with a diverse range of clients from all sorts of backgrounds and across a wide age range. She offers both short-term therapy and long-term, open-ended therapy.

Testimonials about therapy with Bella
“My 5 months or so having therapy with Bella were hugely beneficial to me at a time where I needed it most. I had never stopped to reflect inwards, to openly share my own life experiences, or to understand some of my own behaviours and where they came from, and how to be more forgiving towards myself and others. I've come away feeling much more confident in myself, having made improvements to my relationships and my own well-being.” Anonymous
“It came at the right time for me, I wasn't feeling wonderful and with Bella's help I got a lot of stuff that I had been holding on to off my chest. I felt better after one session.” Anonymous
“Bella was great, thanks!” Robyn
