Helen's CBT Therapist - My Therapist Online

Helen Joselyn-Gadd

BABCP Accredited CBT Therapist (Cognitive Behavioural Therapist)

Anxiety Disorders Specialist

Pronouns - She/Her

I have worked in mental health for over 30 years in mainly specialist services, as a nurse and then, for the last 15 years, as a CBT therapist at the National Anxiety Disorders Residential service, working with people with severe and enduring anxiety disorders, alongside Professor David Veale.

As the senior therapist, I provide extensive supervision and teaching to CBT therapist and psychologists, with the aim of enhancing their evidence-based practice and developing their skills in the latest research for psychological problems.

As your therapist, my goal is to guide you through your journey of recovery. I will work with you to understand your current difficulties, explore how they originated and identify what is maintaining your problems.

I will help you to think about alternative ways in which we can challenge your problem, support and guide you through your treatment process, offering you the latest evidence-based treatment approaches.

Everyone’s experience is specific to them and I would feel privileged to work alongside you, helping you to meet your goals and improve your quality of life
