Amyas has worked as a CBT therapist for the past 10 years in a range of areas in the NHS. Whilst he was training, he worked at the Centre for Anxiety Disorders and Trauma for 1.5 years.
Amyas has worked with people who have complex trauma, such as victims of torture from Sri Lanka and Iraq, and veterans, as well as gaining experience in a full range of mood disorders.
His overall philosophy is that change can naturally occur once some of barriers that impede it are removed.
