Gurpreet is Chartered Clinical Psychologist who has gained invaluable experience helping people with a wide range of psychological difficulties and assisting them on their journey of mental health recovery. Gurpreet is a clinician who appreciates that it is not easy talking about personal issues and difficulties and strives to offer a warm, professional and confidential service which is tailored to meet her client's needs. Gurpreet works with clients of all ages and backgrounds, as she is competent in helping people with a wide range of psychological difficulties. She uses several approaches to help inform her work with clients including:

  • Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)

  • Eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR) - not online.

  • Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT)

  • Mindfulness

  • Compassion focused therapy (CFT)

  • Dialectical behaviour therapy skills (DBT informed)

  • Narrative therapy

  • Solution focussed therapy (SFT)


Gurpreet specialises in trauma, both single event and multiple traumas, however due to her wealth of experience she is pleased to offer effective psychological therapy for a number of mental health difficulties for young people and adults, including the following:

Gurpreet is adept at working with people to help them to understand their difficult experiences in ways that allows them to move through their emotional pain. Gurpreet is experienced in working cross culturally and takes care to respect and work within existing belief systems which may be spiritual and/or religious.
