Counsellor & Psychotherapist

Trauma Specialist
My interest in counselling and psychotherapy began after the death of my son. I received counselling from a wonderful woman over several years, for which I am eternally grateful. Her help enabled me to develop my natural gifting in compassion, empathy, insight and skilled listening.
Since then I have sought to offer a safe space where I can enable people to unfold and explore ways of moving forward from where they are. I believe compassion is the conduet for healing and clarity, and I hold this as a central foundation to everything I do.
I have worked with vulnerable young people in NW London through the charity I co-founded in collaboration with the Church of England: Ignite Trust. Here I gained particular experience with anxiety issues, eating disorders, historical sexual abuse, trauma, unresolved childhood issues, identity, sexuality and gender issues.
As a chaplain in the MOD, I worked successfully with military personnel suffering with conditions such as PTSD, OCD, depression, addiction and relationship problems to name a few.
