Dr Lauren White

Chartered Clinical Psychologist

Lauren is a Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience of working across NHS healthcare settings including the Royal Free and University College London Hospitals. She has worked with adults with a range of mental health difficulties and is specialised in working with those with chronic physical health conditions. 

Lauren completed her BSc Hons Psychology degree at Birkbeck, University of London in 2004. She later obtained a Masters in Neuroscience at the Institute of Psychiatry, Kings College London in 2005. Having worked in a number of research/assistant posts in the NHS and private sector, she went onto complete her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Hertfordshire in 2014. 

Lauren is a strong believer in our innate ability to heal and views her role as facilitator and guide in the process towards healing and discovery.  She offers an empathetic, pragmatic and collaborative space with a focus on what has brought you to where you are and how to move towards a more fulfilling and meaningful life in line with your values.

Lauren works flexibly tailoring her approach to suit the needs of the client. She draws upon a range of psychological therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) and is strongly influenced by systemic and solution-focused approaches. 

Lauren has a particular interest in working with those experiencing anxiety disorders, depression, stress/burnout and chronic health conditions.
