Naomi is an extremely experienced clinician with over has 17 years experience working in the NHS and private sector across a wide range of clinical settings. She is an HCPC and BPS registered Clinical Psychologist with additional qualifications in Hypnotherapy, Dramatherapy (MA), Motivational Interviewing, CBT, CBT for Insomnia, Clinical Neuropsychology (PgDip) and Aviation Psychology.
In addition to CBT Naomi is trained to advanced level in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and completed training in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) both of which have increasing evidence base for anxiety and mood disorders
Naomi also has a background in acting and has worked with some of the countries leading drama schools and British Association of Performing Arts Medicine helping with mental health issues. She is an associate lecturer on the MSC in Performing Arts Medicine at UCL and regularly teaches on Doctoral Training Courses for Psychology.
In 2015 Naomi’s contribution to working with Stroke patients with a range of mental health issues was recognised with a Professional Excellence Award from the Stroke Association.
Naomi is a highly empathic professional who is extremely skilled and tailors each treatment plan according to a clients personal values and goals.
