Neeta Relwani Garg
Senior Counsellor & Psychotherapist
As a MBACP registered counselling psychologist and psychotherapist and a certified fitness, health and wellbeing specialist, working with peoples' wellbeing has been the cornerstone of my career.
Marrying the mental and physical streams together while dealing with my clients using evidence-based practices, neuroscience-based research, best fitness and wellbeing solutions, with ancient wisdom customising them at the convergence that the client requires.
Using an eclectic/integrative/pluralistic psychotherapeutic approach, I also bring in yoga, pranayama, meditation, mindfulness, mind-body/somatic techniques and energy systems like reiki and tai chi / qi gong when required. Being a licensed and registered Bach Flower practitioner (BFRP) also adds to my repertoire of healing modalities.
Whether clients are looking for assistance in areas dealing with relationships difficulties, stress, anxiety, feelings of being low, intergenerational or multi-cultural issues, lost without meaning or purpose or just wanting to gain insight in to life, my sessions are filled with warmth, a non-judgment, safe space for enquiry and exploration where clients get to unravel their processes of finding what they come looking for.
My relaxation sessions are much appreciated and well loved, sometimes being all they need without any talk therapy for the time.
Having over 30 years of experience and being a certified intercultural trainer, the sensitivity with which I work has been fedback to me on a number of occasions. I grow from the negative feedback as well while I am honoured to be a part of the process.
The canvas I work with as a psychologist, psychotherapist, teacher, corporate trainer and researcher expands across all populations, individual and group work in various settings.
My most recent research work includes collaborating with international researchers for a cross cultural study on peak experiences in Indians during mid life and tears of joy in Indians. Both are published in the Indian Journal of Positive Psychology.
My interests have been in creative pursuits: tai chi, dance, singing, theatre and writing. An author of over 100 articles published in newspapers, magazines and websites, I am currently writing two books, one prose fiction and another, a compilation of her poems in English, while I make time to train as a jazz/soul/blues singer!
Besides being proficient in English and Hindi, I can converse in Sindhi and Marathi and am familiar with Punjabi, Gujarati, French and Indonesian. I have travelled to and lived in various parts of the world: USA, UK, Europe, Hong Kong and South East Asia, Australia and West Africa observing and imbibing their cultures.

Testimonial’s from Neeta’s clients
“Neeta, Thank you so much for your one to one therapy session with me. It has helped me discuss all my thoughts with someone who listened with empathy and compassion. This allowed me to rest my unresolved thought after discussing it with you . Truly appreciated your valuable time you had given to me.” (Client in UK)
“Neeta has changed my life! I did not know how to manage my psychological and emotional states for years. It had affected my life to a degree where I was leaning toward depression, isolation and self harm, not to mention financial failure and inability to guide myself out of the spiral. But having been in therapy with Neeta has completely turned my life. Not only do I feel like a normal person for the first time. I am also now able to comprehend and manage my life with optimism and can attest that I am ‘happy’. I highly recommend that anyone struggling with mental, emotional or spiritual well being should speak with her :)” (Client in India)
“I was hesitant to begin counselling as previously I had never been able to “connect” with a counsellor. However, within the very first session with Neeta, that feeling melted away. The strength and momentum with which Neeta has helped me navigate my past and present has been inspiring. Neeta was especially helpful in uncovering underlying issues that I had not considered before I began counselling with her. She has helped me to understand my thoughts, the connection it had with my past and overcome the issues I have struggled with. I left every session with a greater sense of understanding about myself. Thank you, Neeta, for being part of my journey.” (Client in Australia)
“I have had the privilege of working with Neeta for a couple of sessions . She possesses a remarkable blend of warmth and firmness and humility . Her unwavering support and guidance created a safe and nurturing environment for me to be open and honest about myself . With her expert guidance, I was able to find my own answers and navigate through the challenges I faced. I am truly grateful for her professionalism and dedication to helping me on my journey to personal growth and well-being.” (Client from Bombay, India)
“I have been taking consultations from Neeta Garg for a few weeks now and the results and changes I have seen in me personally are very surprising! I am working on my anger and from the time we have started our sessions I can totally see a difference and how it has helped me deeply! Her way of working is very beautiful and calms me down immediately. She helped me open up about my story and most importantly, she gives the power in my hand to take charge of my life in a positive approach. She’s a kind soul with a beautiful heart and has always been there whenever I needed her to be around! I cannot thank her enough for what she’s done for me!” (Client from Navi Mumbai)
“I met Neeta by sheer coincidence (I’d say luck) and started my therapy sessions. Working together in these sessions with Neeta has been such an incredible journey and an experience for me. She creates a very safe and non-judgmental space for me to express myself freely and truly. I have been able to say things aloud and address things that I had been carrying with me for years but was too afraid to confront. Neeta is an excellent listener who not only hears what I have to say but also truly digs deep on the underlying emotions and patterns that drive my thoughts and behaviour. I’m super grateful for the sessions I’ve had, the insight I have gained from them and will continue doing these sessions.
Most importantly, through these sessions I’ve been able to develop a greater sense of self awareness and self compassion and have started treating myself with so much more kindness and understanding. I would highly recommend Neeta to anyone seeking a therapist who can make a meaningful difference in their journey towards healing.” (Client from Bombay, India
