Sarah is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and registered with the Health Care Professions Council HCPC - PYL28688). She also holds an honours degree in Psychology from the University of Sheffield and a Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Leicester.
Sarah has worked across various agencies, both within and outside of the NHS, for nearly 10 years within various specialities including child and adolescent mental health, learning disability services, adult and older adult mental health, neuropsychology and physical health. Her doctoral thesis focussed upon both an individual's and carer's experience of living with Parkinson's disease.
Most recently Sarah has worked within the NHS as a Senior Clinical Psychologist within an Older People’s Mental Health Service offering psychological assessment and intervention to individuals with a wide range of mental health difficulties. Previous to this current role she has also worked within the Physical Health and Neuropsychology Team supporting individuals in adjusting to changes with their physical health.
